New Student Services has planned a day-long program for family members who have new freshman students attending orientation. “Family Orientation” is offered the first day of each freshmen orientation session.

This program is designed to answer many of the questions family members often have as their student enters The University of Texas at Austin. Representatives from many departments on campus advise family members on the services available at UT Austin. Family members also have an opportunity to visit with their student’s college and attend break-out sessions on topics of their choice.

Texas Parents volunteers and staff members will be available throughout the day to answer questions and help address parent problems and concerns. Texas Parents will also be accepting new members to the association.
