Family Orientation 2013

Texas Parents and the UT Austin community present Family Orientation to our Class of ’17 Parents and Family.

You can participate in a daylong program designed to introduce you to the university and its resources for parents and family members while your student attends the Student Orientation activities.

You will meet with your student’s college or school, learn about academic expectations, network with other parents, and attend a variety of sessions presented by on-campus resource representatives.

Texas Parents volunteers and staff members will be available throughout the day to answer questions and be of help in any way we can.

Family Orientation

• • Family Orientation is not mandatory but we encourage all parents and families to attend.
  • Please note that you must attend the Family Orientation session offered during the orientation session for which your student has registered.
  • For registration information, click on the appropriate session date in the left column that corresponds to your student’s orientation session.
  

Student Orientation

• • All students are required to attend an orientation session hosted by New Student Services.
  • Students will need to register separately for their orientation session and can do so here.
