Students Fail to Recognize Plagiarism

Most students do not have a complete understanding of what constitutes plagiarism, and as a result, several students each semester are deemed guilty of cheating. More students are consistently gathering old information from online sources in order to answer exam, textbook or homework questions, as opposed to using these sites merely as study aids. For those who do no know, that is considered plagiarism. The Daily Texan highlights this form of plagiarism in a recent article.

E-bus Moves Toward Stricter Policies, Monitoring

In an effor to monitor how many people are taking advantage of the E-bus services and which routes are being used more frequently, Capital Metro is now requiring its riders to swipe their UT Student ID card. Those riders who are not considered students must pay a $1 fare or purchase a $2 day pass.
